How to Close Open Applications On Windows 8 ?

If you are using windows 8 developer preview you may be looked for closing windows 8 applications. Do you found any way to close those windows 8 applications? May be no chance ! Because there is no any direct way to close the windows 8 applications.

Windows 8 is build with more enhanced features than any other windows operating system available in the market today. Windows will use the built in features to check which application you working on and If windows found you are finished working with the application, windows 8 will automatically kill those applications. Means no need to close the applications that you finished working. Windows will do it for you!

You don’t want to give this job to windows, No problem follow below steps to close open applications on windows 8.

Step 1: Move your cursor to the bottom left corner (don’t click).Now you will see the windows 8 start menu.

Step 2: Click on the search button and now a new sidebar windows will be opened.

Step 3: You will get an Apps button at the bottom. Click on this button. Now you will get the entire applications page. Move applications page by clicking on the bottom navigation and you will get Task Manager.

Step 4: Open the task manger and select the application you want to close and click on end task.
