Lot of people using Google reader to stay connected with their favorite websites and blogs.During these 5 years journey Google added some additional features and improvements to Google reader, This time it will be a massive improvement.

As per Google Blog, Google reader will be getting a brand new user interface and design changes next week and also Google all set to integrate Google reader on Google plus; the  brand new social network from the search engine giant. In simple, Google plus users will be getting most of the Google reader features very soon.

Alan Green, Software Engineer at Google added in the Blog post,

“In a week’s time we’ll be retiring things like friending, following and shared link blogs inside of Reader. We think the end result is better than what’s available today, and you can sign up for Google+ right now to start prepping Reader-specific circles. We recognize, however, that some of you may feel like the product is no longer for you. That’s why we will also be extending Reader’s subscription export feature to include the following items. Your data belongs to you, after all, and we want to make sure you can take it with you.”

Means now you can export your subscriptions, shared items, friends, likes, starred items along with you and Google Reader will still remain as a great place to read and share feeds. I am really excited to see Google reader in action on my Google+ account. What do you think; Google Plus will become more powerful with Google reader integration?
