Skype For Symbian Discontinued
Skype, the most widely used multi platform voip application or peer to peer service to stay in touch with your family and friends finally announced that the Symbian version of Skype will be retiring in coming weeks.
When I tried to login to Skype from one of my Symbian enabled phones , it found working but I don’t know for how many days!Soon after the login went successful I received an email from Skype communication dept;
We’ve noticed that you are, or previously were, signed into Skype on a Symbian phone, and we’re sorry to inform you that we are now permanently retiring all Skype apps for Symbian phones. As a result, within the next few weeks, you’ll no longer be able to sign in and use Skype on any Symbian phone.
You can still stay in touch with family, friends and colleagues using Skype on an Android platform, Windows phone / any desktop computer using the same Skype account for login purpose.
