Google first launched the “Movies on android” back in last May 2011,during the Google I/O conference but unfortunately it is not available in all the regions. Movies on android are restricted to some countries initially and today Google pushed out Movies on android to Canada too.

Google now directly taking on their competitor companies like Netflix by pushing out movies on android to Canada. Presently the movies rental cost is between $3.99 to $6.99 and Movies are arranged in different categories including Action & Adventure, Animation & Cartoons, Comedy drama etc.

If you purchased any movies from Google android market, Google gives you a 30-day “Rental Grant Period” and once you press play on the movie you have 48 hours to finish watching. To experience the Movie on android you need at least android operating system 2.2 or higher.
