In latest version of Joomla 2.5.5,the team added the ability to copy any Joomla template.This feature can be used to create a new copy of the existing Joomla template including all necessary files and update strings.This can be accessed via Template Manager => Templates tab, click on an existing template and enter a new name then click on the copy template.
2.Limited the number of password reset within a time period
Joomla added additional security features to the version 2.5.5.Now the new version will limit the password reset within a time period to secure your joomla installation from hackers and hijackers.
3.Multi-File Upload
Joomla 2.5.5 now support multi-file upload for the media manager option and additionally it is fully backward compatible with old browsers .When uploading files users can browse and choose the number of files they want to upload.
4.Media Preview
The joomla version 2.5.5 now show the preview of the currently chosen or selected image .You can test this by mouse hovering on the new preview button to see the thumbnail.
5.Option to disable the ability to change the Username in Profile
