Google Earth Crossed One Billion Downloads
Google first launched Google earth back in 2005 and it helped many people to explore the world in a new way. Google today announced that Google Earth downloads crossed one billion including the Google Earth desktop client, mobile apps and the Google Earth plug-in.
To celebrate this special occasion Google launched OneWorldManyStories.com website, which highlights how the world used the earth mapping software through the years. There is lot of people, who using Google Earth to follow their dreams, discover new and distant places, or make the world a better place.
