How To Edit Microsoft Office Files In Gmail

Search engine giant Google and Microsoft recently came up with a mutual plan to help out their end users with more cloud features such as editing Microsoft office documents in Gmail that arrive as attachments.

The new initiative will help Gmail to grab more attention and more new features and stay away from rest of the world. As you know most of the people mainly use Microsoft office as their office suite and this new alliance will bring Microsoft Office document into a Google Drive file, meaning it can be accessed anywhere.

Users who receive different Microsoft office document formats in their Gmail will be able to edit them and then make their lives much easier. Google will automatically able to convert those formats to Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

Another advantage for Gmail users is that, will be able to access your documents in the cloud with revision history. I personally love this feature and a big thanks to both the tech giants.
